With over 35 years of nursing experience in everything from acute care, trauma, oncology, surgery, and pre/post OR, Femeena is a renowned expert in the medical field. Her experience in the medical world led her to mastering her skills in dermatology and medical aesthetics for the past 25 years. Femeena is well known for her ability to pay great attention to detail, and with her unique skillset has become one of Canada's top advanced cosmetic injectors. With this background, Femeena brings an abundance of knowledge, skill, and passion to not only her spa, but the industry at large. With an appetite for continuous learning and growth, Femeena continues to attend seminars and symposiums to stay advanced in her techniques and treatments. Further to this, Femeena has managed a multi-disciplinary team at a world-renowned dermatology center, and spent countless hours training other health care practitioners. With her unwavering passion, professionalism and interpersonal skills, Femeena has the unrelenting ability to provide each client with their own unique, natural transformation.

Dr. Mateo completed Medical School in Havana, Cuba in 2000, and completed his intense medical Residency training at The University of Calgary in 2009.
Dr. Mateo has a General Medicine Practice in Calgary, and has a great passion for helping immigrants like himself, which is why he also has a practice in the area of refugee health. He has a special interest in Medical Aesthetics, which lead him to complete a number of courses and seminars in Medical Aesthetics here in Calgary and in Vancouver over the past few years.
In Dr. Mateo's free time, he loves spending time with his family and friends, and is passionate about travelling. He loves sports, but his greatest passion is spending time with his dog.
Dr Mateo can be found at Elegance Medispa, chatting with everyone, always wanting to laugh and give advice. He is a kind, gentle soul, and is such an important team member at Elegance Medispa.

Taylor has over 9 years of experience in managing a multi-million dollar facility. Taylor has been with with Elegance from the ground up and is excelling in the Medical Aesthetic industry. During this time, she has worked with clients, staff, and other health care providers. In a fast-paced and demanding environment, Taylor has developed extremely strong organizational skills and problem solving, and excels at managing a large facility with many interwoven parts. Taylor has great compassion and a strong work ethic. She always strives to maintain professional behaviour while being friendly and approachable. Her professional and welcoming personality is a great fit in the Elegance environment.

Dana Currie is a certified medical aesthetician and certified laser technician with advanced training under the Pastiche Method of Advanced Skin Analysis, Cosmetic Chemistry, and Hormonal Mediated Pigmentation.
Dana has advanced her skills and abilities in many procedures such as laser hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels, photo-facials, body contouring/skin tightening, pigmentation/vascular lesions, collagen stimulation, medical grade skincare and much more. Educating clients on how to achieve healthier skin by understanding the skin’s structure and functions, and promoting health and natural healing through non-invasive modalities is not just a job, but a passion.

Meredith is a certified Laser and Skin Technician, and has spent many years in the medical field working in both a clinical setting and in Emergency Medical Services as an EMT. Meredith is a Level II certified Lash Technician offering Classic, Hybrid (blend) and Volume Lashes, as well as Lash Lift and Tint. Her attention to detail and initial consultation to assess clients’ needs has her clients leaving with flawless lashes.
She has previous experience in a world renowned dermatology clinic providing Skin Consultations and performing Skin and Laser treatments. Meredith is always thrilled to meet new clients and reconnect with familiar faces. Her dedication to providing detailed, personalized care ensures that every treatment is tailored to deliver exceptional results. With a passion for creating a positive and welcoming experience, Meredith takes pride in helping each client feel confident and radiant.

My name is Adara and I am thrilled to be part of the Elegance team. With a solid foundation in aesthetics, I graduated from the Esthetic Institute in 2019, completing the CIDESCO program. Building on that knowledge, I further honed my skills by graduating from the Medical Aesthetic program in 2020.
As the Client Care Consultant, I aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. My passion for people shines through in my interactions; I’m known for my loud laughter that can be heard a mile away! Reece is one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors at Elegance Medispa! As part of our Client Care team, she loves creating a welcoming experience for every client, helping with appointments, answering questions, and making sure you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. Her passion for the aesthetics industry comes from her love of health, wellness, and nutrition, and the connection between skin health, self-care, and confidence. Reece completed the Esthetician – Spa Management program at Durham College, where she developed a strong foundation in skincare, client care, and aesthetic treatments, followed by an advanced laser technology program at the International Beauty Institute. Before making the move to Calgary, Reece began her career at a medispa in Ontario. She’s excited to bring her experience and passion for the industry to the Elegance team! Outside of Elegance you’ll usually find Reece spending time with her partner and their dog, exploring new hiking trails, getting lost in a good book, or in the kitchen cooking and baking.
